Alinity Divine
Alinity was referenced in a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch user who filed the lawsuit against Twitch, seeking damages of $25 million. The user claimed the site exposed him sexually explicit videos by female streamers. According to court records that were obtained from Dexerto, the plaintiff, who had previously filed suit against Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, presented an official complaint to the court on June 15 seeking a lawsuit. Twitch itself was issued an official summons on the 19th of June. In the complaint which was filed at the Santa Clara Superior Court of California, Estavillo suffers from several medical issues that require the use of the internet for all of his entertainment needs, as well as having an obsessive-compulsive disorder, and sexual addiction that is what the complaint states Twitch is only making worse. The complaint goes on to name a few female streamers it claims "continues to make available viewers who just want to see players playing games on Twitch while being exposed to addictive sexual content and content on a consistent every day." Alinity is not included. The complaint requests each of these streamers to be permanently banned from Twitch to be convicted of violating the Terms of Service. Additionally, it wants to pay the payment of $25 million, to "be divided equally between the complainant, all other Twitch Turbo Subscribers as well as any funds left."
