After finishing his school years, Lars was drafted into the military in which he completed his basic military service of nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), an infantry regiment of the Danish army. The military service wasn't an ideal choice to do, so he sought out something different after completing it . He decided to go to college to study biology. While he was occupied with this already a half year, Anette came home from the juggler's class to show him how skilled she was at juggle after three days. Lars was very pleased with this and was keen to give it a go. He decided to drop out of college and enrolled at the school of jugglers. He learned fire breathing and juggling at this school. After the completion of high school he travelled around Europe with two other friends which was where he performed on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. A few years later, he was to a child's circus, where he also learned pantomime as well as street theater and children's theater.
